This privacy policy (the “Policy”) is intended to inform you of the types of information Western Massachusetts, Scouting America (“WMA”) collects, as well as our policies and practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of that information through the web pages at https://www.wmascouting.org and https://info.wmascouting.org (the “Sites”).

Please read this Policy carefully, because by using the Site, you are acknowledging that you understand and agree to the terms of this Policy, and consent to the manner in which we may collect, use and disclose the foregoing information. If you do not agree to the terms of this Policy, please do not use the Site.

What Information Do We Collect?

Personal Information You Provide to Us

Whenever you use the Site, we, as well as any of our third-party advertisers and/or service providers, may use a variety of technologies that automatically collect information about how the Site is accessed and used (“Usage Information”). Usage Information may include, in part, browser type, operating system, the page served, the time, how many users visited the Site, and the website you visited immediately before the Site.

Does This Policy Apply to Other Websites Linked To Or From the Site?

No. Linked third-party websites are subject to their own privacy policies, not ours.

Do We Collect Information From Children Under the Age of 16?

The Site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from them. If discovered, such information will be deleted promptly.

What Steps Do We Take To Protect Your Information?

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your Personal Information, though no method is fully secure. You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WMA will not be liable for damages resulting from use of Personal Information, except as required by law. Our liability will not exceed the greater of the fees you paid for any related product or $100.

Miscellaneous

This Policy and the privacy practices of Western Massachusetts, Scouting America will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Massachusetts in the United States.
